Natural Lashes

Posted by That Brief Encounter at 09:59
Recently I rediscovered one of my favourite mascaras, the amazing bareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara. This mascara really doesn’t get much credit and I can sort of see why, I mean, it doesn’t exactly get ridiculously long lashes like the iconic Benefit They’re Real (which I accidently gave to my mum one day when I was feeling particularly kind…), but it does give beautiful results. I’m not massively fond of long thick lashes that are visibly coated in mascara, but bareMinerals gives lovely length. If you have very short lashes I wouldn’t recommend this for you but those of you with a decent length pair might want to have a look. On a daily basis I’m much more keen to throw on concealer, foundation, a sweep of a neutral pink blush and some mascara, and I really feel that this one looks so natural it would make people wonder.
This is the wand, when I first got it I’d never seen such a different style of wand! Its plastic but the application is really natural and I only have to use one coat.
Another bonus about this mascara is its lasting ability. It is not a waterproof mascara but it has survived a the rain (even though my hair and the rest of my face didn’t) every time, yet without the pain of the waterproof mascara: the removal. I do hold a special place in my heart for this mascara, as I love my lashes to look as natural and as clump free as possible. A little beauty!
