Passion Pit - Take a Walk

Old songs I know but I recently rediscovered them and forgot how much I loved them.

Little Things Make Me So Happy

Posted by That Brief Encounter at 16:06 0 comments

So this is a little bit of ‘fashion’ in here but I wanted to share this. This was a really cheap little necklace from Accessorize. It was £6!  I can’t seem to find it on the accessorize website, and I’ve been trying to find a real sterling silver one because I’m guessing this is only some kind of cheap metal that won’t last forever. Anyway I’m keeping my eyes peeled for anything like it, with no luck at the mo. *sad face*

A little picture post about what I’m taking for my 4-day trip to Ireland this week.

Topshop Make-up Bag
Clinique City Block Sheer
Clinique New Even Better Concealer
Witch Concealer in 01 Natural
bareMinerals Ready Foundation in R170 Fairly Light
Lloyds Parmacy Eyelash Curlers;)
HD Brows in Foxy
bareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara (changed my mind)
Topshop Lips in Rumour Has It

These products are my staples, it's only when you come to pack your things you realise what you really need out of all the make-up you own.

This Time I Restrained Myself

So Saturday I had a little shopping spree with my friend, and emerged from Boots with TWO items! (Excluding two bags of cotton pads). Two! Those who know me will know that this is amazing for me as I normally leave with my purse empty and my hands weighed down with a hefty Boots bag or two.

The two items I purchased I am really enjoying and I thought I would share them with you.
Eau Thermale Avène Cleanance Lotion - Toner 200ml £10.50
Both are by the same brand, Avene, and the first one is this amazing toner. This one is for oily skin so it mattifies the skin and doesn’t leave the skin greasy. I love this as it is so gentle with is so nice as I still have nightmares of using the Clinique Clarifying Lotion 3 (sorry Clinique) and how harsh it was. I also love the smell of this toner, I’m really big on smells and it’s a really big factor when I come to buy things. (You’ll just see me hovering in the beauty isles sniffing things…) Yeah that sounds weird.
Eau Thermale Avène Thermal Spring Water 50ml £3.15

The second was this little cutie. I love this as it was quite cheap, at £3 something, although I know its tiny. This is for sensitive skin and it is really refreshing. You can use this in the summer, during travel, on a rash or an irritation, on razor burn, sunburn or to set make-up, which is primarily what I bought it for as my make-up doesn’t tend to be long lasting on hot days.
